Laser cut pattern making has been part of our process at Claire Crowe Collection since the very beginning. We start with a sketchbook and pencil. We then translate those sketches into patterns that are cut by torch or machine.
A simple pattern becomes beautifully complex with attention to detail. Texture, scale, framing, patina, and paint all add depth and distinction. Texture, in particular, lends a graceful, weathered character to iron. Processes done by hand make a difference, even when you can’t quite put your finger on what makes it special. We believe in using our hands whenever possible.
